Sanctuary Pergolas is a family-owned and operated business, our vision, since the conception of Sanctuary Pergolas, has been to craft the most premium pergolas on the market. You can expect warm customer service, reliable communication, and an exceptional finished product. We are based in Auckland but have completed projects in Hamilton, Waihi, Tauranga, and Whangarei.
OUR STORY
Founder Bruce, an engineering and design teacher who pioneered projects and courses for secondary students for many years, was in the market for a pergola for his own home. Seeing what was available, he was disappointed by the quality and frustrated by the long lead times. Resolving to build one for himself, he put his considerable experience into crafting a product that would fit his needs perfectly. Once completed and having gone through the process for himself, he saw how his skills could be used to help others create their own ideal outdoor spaces.

Now with a multi-disciplinary team of designers and with the philosophy of less is more, Sanctuary Pergolas has continued to refine its clean uncluttered and stylish designs, from gutters that integrate perfectly with the minimalistic design to the tinted flat acrylic sheet roofing giving unobstructed views of the heavens. We believe that our pergolas should harmoniously blend in with their surroundings, complementing the style and design of your home.
